Zab Maboungou has succeeded in all aspects of arts and culture: she is the founder of renowned contemporary dance company Zab Maboungou/Compagnie Danse Nyata Nyata, on top of being a choreographer and performer, professor of philosophy and author. She has succeeded in translating and implanting through her works and her involvement in artistic and cultural development, another presence and another home for the imagination. Her groundbreaking movement technique, called loketo, is a standard in its own right today. Her unique journey reflects an aesthetic of great poetic power.
